Welcome to The Wine Collective
​We are a privately run Restaurant and Regional Cellar Door situated in the grounds of the Macedon Hotel and Spa. If you would like to dine with us please make a booking.

We established The Wine Collective in 2017 with the intention of supporting the local wine industry with wine tastings and high quality food to partner with the wine. We are a family run business with a small dedicated team. Our focus is on providing customers with an amazing experience in our wonderful location. We invite you to discover new wines and experience the menu for yourselves.

Seasonal Dining
We offer an a la carte menu. We have a minimum of two courses for dinner service.
The Wine Collective offers modern dining in a relaxed setting with spectacular views over the surrounding area. We aim to create a memorable experience that combines three elements - wine, food, and views.
We offer a Spring/Summer Menu and an Autumn/Winter Menu and pride ourselves on the quality of our ingredients and on trend options.

Macedon Ranges Wines
The Wine Collective houses a regional cellar door featuring Macedon Ranges Wines. We are not a winery. Visitors can enjoy a Macedon Ranges wine tasting and buy a bottle to take away at cellar door price. We offer regional wine tastings that change regularly throughout the year. We stock wines from a wide range of Macedon Ranges wineries. Our focus is on offering the best of the region as well as carefully selected wines from the rest of Australia. LOCAL GINS AND COCKTAILS
Local Gin and Beers
The Gin
We stock four local gin brands: Animus, Big Tree, Mountain Gin and Travelling While Standing Still. Each gin has been made with a unique set of botanicals sourced locally. We serve the tonics with specially matched tonics and garnishes.

The Beers
Our local beers are from Tooborac Brewery which is near Heathcote and the Lost Watering Hole, which is in Lancefield. These beers have proved very popular with locals and visitors alike.
